This documentation is designated to data, database and Delta administrators and describes whatever must be considered when using Delta/DBI together with SQL systems. Only the supported features will be described. Restrictions derive from the use of special database systems.

It is designed to supplement MA 21'417, the Server Generator Reference Manual. It explains first of all those points that are common to all SQL systems and additionally system-specific extensions and restrictions.

The reader should be familiar with the current database management system as well as with Delta and especially Delta/DBI.
